Thank you for your question. According to the manufacture, this all depends on the flow rate of the faucet and the inlet water temperature.They provided this info as well:
Most sink faucets are around 2.5. For example: if this was being installed in Michigan, we have an average ground temp of 42'-47'. This unit would only produce 2.0 GPM @ 103' -108' water. If it was installed in Texas this would be able to produce 6 GPM.
