Sloan auto flush toilet. Sloan SOLIS DF 8111-1.6/1.1 Water Closet Flushometer, Exposed, Solar Powered, Sensor Activated, Dual Flush, 1.6/1.1 GPF

I am building a dental clinic in honolulu. The Customer wants a Sloan valve with the auto flush sensor toilet. The plumber thinks a 1" main is required. Can you please clarify what we need?

According to Sloan, 1" is correct and the standard supply to a toilet flush valve. The required operating pressure (flowing) is 15-80 PSI.
