There is an adjustable dial inside the unit so you can turn the speed/sound level up or down. When turned all the way down, the Xlerators are among the most quiet dryers available. The db range is roughly 62-75 (based on where you have the nozzle adjusted). This db range is also based on Xlerators with the .8 noise reduction nozzle. All dryers purchased from prodryers.com automatically come with the .8 noise reduction nozzle. Please see attached specifications for more product details.
