Per the manufacturer: The key to the life of the HEPA filter is the cleanliness of the Pre-Filter. Whenever the Pre-Filter is removed and cleaned, the HEPA filter should be inspected for any excessive debris build-up. A slight discoloration over time is normal and not an indication of failure. The manufacturer recommends changing out the HEPA filter every 6-12 months depending on usage. Please find the cleaning guide attached.
